Meet London Mason,

Certified Recovery Coach

London Mason is the founder and CEO of Living Well Recovery Services, LLC. Before his commitment to recovery, he served in the United States Army for 25 years securing 3 deployments: Desert Storm and 2 Iraq Tours (2003 and 2011). London received various awards for his bravery, to include the Bronze Star. His military career yielded opportunity for him to serve as an instructor at the Military Leadership Academy, and he was also selected to be the first Family Readiness Liaison, which he believes springboarded him into becoming a Recovery Coach.

In an effort to continue his service to our nation’s Veterans, London became a Certified Peer Specialist in 2014 and secured employment with the Veterans Health Administration. He now gives guidance and mentorship to those who are willing to walk their pathway towards successful recovery!

As a Certified Recovery Coach, London seeks to empower people towards fulfilling their purpose by utilizing the practical Strengths-Based Approach. This approach focuses on identifying and leveraging an individual's personal strengths, talents, and community resources in order to promote growth, development, and resilience.

London also implements a Holistic Perspective that draws on reliable evidence for true mind renewal to actively engage in the ability to seek out new meaning, establish personal value, and restoring hope!

He's committed to sharing his personal and continued journey towards his own recovery, while inspiring others. London’s hope is that others will commit to recovery, see growth and change, then someday encourage and inspire others to carry their individual torch towards recovery success!

Meet London Masn
Why consider the Strengths-Based Approach during your Recovery Journey?

Why Recovery?

... because Recovery is a journey or a process to a better way of life, not a destination or cure to the problems of your past.

... because Recovery is about applying new strategies towards completing lifetime goals.

... because Recovery is realizing that you're exercising newfound hope that leans towards a great future.

... because Recovery is accepting constructive feedback from a mentor who will walk alongside you and capable of giving you support.

... because Recovery is taking charge of your life through the avenues of healing and growth.

... because Recovery is accepting your past in order to embrace a better tomorrow.

Below are 4 considerations of why the Strengths-Based Approach works

Consideration #1

The Strengths-Based Approach doesn't focus primarily on a person's symptoms, problems or diagnoses as many mental health services and programs do. Instead, the Strengths-Based Approach looks at each person holistically and focuses on and amplifies the "well" part of a person.

Consideration #2

The Strengths-Based Approach helps people identify and use their inner strengths and the strengths in their environment to rebound from difficulties and create the life they want.

Consideration #3

The Strengths-Based Approach empowers people to reclaim a fuller and more satisfying life by building upon their strengths, defining their personal aspirations, goals, identifying and using the resources available within their families, friendship circles and communities.

Consideration #4

The Strengths-Based Approach honors the inherent potential for human growth in each person's life and supports each person's search for healing, meaning and wholeness, even in the midst of struggle and adversity.
